Ballinskelligs from Irish: Baile an Sceilg, meaning "homestead of the rocks", Irish pronunciation: [b?a.l?? ?n? ?c?.l???], is a Gaeltacht village in the south-west of the Iveragh peninsula (Uíbh Ráthach) in County Kerry, Ireland.
The rocks referred to in the village's Irish name are Skellig Michael and Little Skellig, an ancient monastic colony which lies off the coast from Ballinskellings. The town is also the site of a beach, the ruins of Ballinskelligs Priory of Augustinian Canons Regular, and the remains of Ballinskelligs Castle.
